Waiting for Notes from Andrew (guest blogger) during Thanksgiving week is a futile undertaking.  Hope Everyone enjoys the Thanksgiving festivities of family, food, football, and libations in any order you see fit.
So without further adoue….here are the stats.
All square at the top.  14 winning lines a piece for FYVM and Cannoli’s.
Doug continues to impress.  Bucking for three B League titles in a row and Cannon Cayman must have been on point with 2 and 2 victory.  Shine wears off Todd the wet Sprocket on Saturday but still proving to be high value pick in round 7.
Burt definitely missing El Cubano.  Takes another L from Fear the Beard Hunt and Young Kingsdorf.  Young Ben stock rising now that he is playing more tennis.  Kind of like Rory McIIroy after his break up with Caroline.  No word on the length of Jason’s shorts and whether or not that played any part of Cannoli’s demise.
Looks like a good one was played between Steve and Rocky vs. Big Andrew and Kevin.  Andrew didn’t give me any details but Rocky and Steve look formidable on paper.  Looks like losing the first set in a close one caused a let-down for the Cannoli duo.
Come back Shane and bobby the tool man Hurley take down Johnny and Pat convincingly.  Chalk another one for the youngsters.  Bastards.
Strong Music takes pep talk in Stride from previous blog and Captain Ferr dials up W’s in the first two lines.  Enthusiasm is tempered because it was only against Gordo’s Team America but theme for String Music remains STILL IN THE HUNT.  Assume Mitch was his usual solid self and Vic hit a few left handers to stave off the commish and previously high rising BILLSpiess.
Indian Lives Do Matter as Lefty gets in the Win column with Big John vs. Greg/ Fred duo.  Rude welcome to B III continues to some of the new comers (Fast Freddie included).  Glad to see the tanned one garner first win.  I believe he already has asked to play with Big John next week too.
With two more victories….String Music could challenge with three weeks left.

Inquiry light on for TM with only two lines available.  Seen Eskine in the gym Saturday and Dave at Interference Saturday night eating a greasy cheese burger.  Also, Captain TM was seen walking the dog aimlessly in Greenleaves Saturday night but that could have been medicinal.   Board is investigating….that’s all I’m saying!

On another front...heard Mark, Ray, and Keller made a strong appearance at State for 8.5 combo.  Congrats on a fine showing.  Was Prince Harry in stands supporting Mark the Ego?

Bentleague X: The Sequel Draft Recap

Bentleague X: The Sequel Draft Recap   Not for the faint of heart…back by popular demand…here is the St. Bernard Swami’s recap of the Bentleague X Draft.   First things first, this is an unbiased take on the captain’s picks and how the teams fared out on draft night.   As the ombudsman of Bentleague you can count on an unbiased evaluation of each team from top to bottom.   Congrats to the Commish for finally getting rid of the cockamamie scoring system that favored top picks more than late round selections.   This is an inclusive league for all PAC members, and a win by Rockin Toupsie or Josh (Mr. Irrelevant) should be just as much as a win by Russ “Don’t call me Russell” Anderson.   Wait…did Josh win any Bentleague matches last year?   I digress…on to the team draft grades. Drafting in the number one position was Hairy Hal Neitzschman aka. Spin Doctors II.   No surprise here with Russ going first overall.   Clear #1 by everyon...

Bentleague Blog/Vlog 10/22/2025 - Round 2 Match 2 and 3

I'll BE BACK! Going with the VLOG to recap match 2 and 3 of Round 2. https://youtu.be/rLpJlQK81UM? feature=shared --- Here are a couple of parting shots as I go to the IR: Sensei Kobrock will live in Bentleague infamy for having a person who was in Germany in the line up. Grant is still winless!  How is this even possible with those fundamentals. Rudy is working hard to fulfill third round expectations...finally gets in the Win column and it only took five matches! Old Knees Harvey should not complain about being at line 6.  Congrats on the W with Millsie. Nick is the only captain this year to not have a previous title under his belt and its showing.   Don't bet on the Ego on Saturday mornings! The youngin's are asserting themselve,s but a few of the old guard still know how to win.  Especially in TSTB's. Round 3 will reveal who had the best draft middle on down.  Time to get some more players involved. Being on the IR during Bentleague is more painf...
