And then there were two…
Cannoli’s vs. FYVM for the title tonight. Matches start at 7:30pm. Also rans have prelims at 6 then it gets
interesting.
If Stallion’s predictions prevail we will see FYVM taking at
least 3 tonight to force a winner take all tie breaker match. I see at least three victories in the FYVM
lineup if all are available. No more Mr.
Nice Guy Steve (Don’t call me Charlie) Jacobs will put forth a formidable line
up and pull back the curtain on Cannoli’s fine season. No tapping of the ruby slippers for Captain
Cannoli to stave off the inevitable.
Cannoli’s in the driver’s seat after an impressive sweep of
String Music last week capped by an orgy fest victory Monday night. I don’t know what was worse…watching the
peanut gallery (Andrew, mark, brad, kevin, and doug) celebrate or watching Jason
and Burt to their Avatar mating scene ritual before crucial points. Rumors of point shaving unfounded but John
Hot Rod Williams was seen recently in the Slidell Gymnasium. Just saying.
How could SM lose all 4 against the Cannoli’s. Besides Gordo going oh for seven this year….this
is the Biggest mystery of B III to date.
Stallion says Top 6 of FYVM stronger than Cannoli’s top
six. Questions loom as victory on paper
will not bring title. Will Brad’s continue
to keep his back hand in the court or will memories of Kehoe tournament creep
back in? No competition at Chiller has inflated
ego rivaling the not so FAIRest one. Stallion says Blake’s serve will cost at least
one line. Burt playing well Monday night
means drop off on Thursday. Unsung
heroes JMiller and Burito McQuaid have to come back down to earth. No way they continue to shine with the pressure
of a B III title on the line. Eighth
spot could decide whether or not we have a tie breaker finale. Does Captain Cannoli go with two time title
holder Doug? Not with that back
hand. Does he go with Crowd favorite Cannon
Cayman to mix in some pace? Strong
possibility! Or does he go with youth
and athleticism (McCarthy)? First year B
III participant so unlikely.
And who will fill the last spot for the Morlas namesake? Tried and true Rocky Payne or play “everyday”
Todd Sprocket. Can Box Wine Priola
continue to win with anyone Steve matches him up with? Fourth line will tell us if we have another
week of
B III or if we crown the champion Thursday night.
Lets play two boys….
