B III and Mr. Anderson take down the bruised ego and sir Isaac in three.  Those in attendance witnessed some good tennis from what I hear.  Third set a little anticlimactic as power of the youngster take over.

Nick and Jay bring first line 2 win to FOY in the bubble.  Get used to this pairing racking up points.

Robbie and The Tooth take down Addison and Caymen in two.  Assume 2nd set errors played into the 4,1 line score.

Tony can get past his kryptonite big brother and Gambler Greg was flawless.  Big Honeysuckle still looking for allusive victory.  So far, biggest upset of the year as far as draft positions are concerned Mr. Robinson’s win last week.

Neitz and Jay were impressive in B VI debut with a never in doubt win against the fiery Otillo and Bogalusa Autin.

FOY jumps back into the fray taking four of five and getting some much needed points.

Jon and Jacques over Red Baron and Galloping Gazeley.  May have saved Jon and Jacques psyche because rumor is they blew a huge lead in the first set tie breaker.  Very good tennis played at Cocquille after the rain delay at PAC.

Battle of the unbeatens.  It is a shame someone had to lose but if it had to be someone Brad needed to be humbled.  Congrats to Mr. Rehash on his early season success.

Shane and RaGoof take down Hefty Lefty and Jacobs.  Is that two losses in a row for the former USTA line 2 pair.  Maybe even three in a row if you count the loss at sectionals.  Watch out!  RaGoof on a roll!  He does like the pairing with more athletic than he looks McCarthy.

Mr. Hustle Ferr and Sundial Groeneveld take down Wayne’s World Durr and Crazy eyes Monaghan.  Went three so the MM duo was in the game.  Don’t think BSS would have been happy with a L on this line.

Poor Burrito McQuaid can’t get a win.  Thought this one would have been closer.  Word is Captain Todd played fantastic and Sly Schneider worked his normal magic. George has to step up representation with one of the Geritol three going on the IR.

Bentleague X: The Sequel Draft Recap

Bentleague X: The Sequel Draft Recap   Not for the faint of heart…back by popular demand…here is the St. Bernard Swami’s recap of the Bentleague X Draft.   First things first, this is an unbiased take on the captain’s picks and how the teams fared out on draft night.   As the ombudsman of Bentleague you can count on an unbiased evaluation of each team from top to bottom.   Congrats to the Commish for finally getting rid of the cockamamie scoring system that favored top picks more than late round selections.   This is an inclusive league for all PAC members, and a win by Rockin Toupsie or Josh (Mr. Irrelevant) should be just as much as a win by Russ “Don’t call me Russell” Anderson.   Wait…did Josh win any Bentleague matches last year?   I digress…on to the team draft grades. Drafting in the number one position was Hairy Hal Neitzschman aka. Spin Doctors II.   No surprise here with Russ going first overall.   Clear #1 by everyon...

Bentleague Blog/Vlog 10/22/2025 - Round 2 Match 2 and 3

I'll BE BACK! Going with the VLOG to recap match 2 and 3 of Round 2. https://youtu.be/rLpJlQK81UM? feature=shared --- Here are a couple of parting shots as I go to the IR: Sensei Kobrock will live in Bentleague infamy for having a person who was in Germany in the line up. Grant is still winless!  How is this even possible with those fundamentals. Rudy is working hard to fulfill third round expectations...finally gets in the Win column and it only took five matches! Old Knees Harvey should not complain about being at line 6.  Congrats on the W with Millsie. Nick is the only captain this year to not have a previous title under his belt and its showing.   Don't bet on the Ego on Saturday mornings! The youngin's are asserting themselve,s but a few of the old guard still know how to win.  Especially in TSTB's. Round 3 will reveal who had the best draft middle on down.  Time to get some more players involved. Being on the IR during Bentleague is more painf...
