Gentlemen,  Well all that came had a great time at the lunch.  Want to thank all of you for the whiskey.  It's never expected but always appreciated.  Also want to thank Cayman for the great food and service at the Lake House.  We made two official announcements yesterday.  First that Brad is the in coming commissioner for Bentleague IV.  And the Captains for 2018 will be Mike Mesa, Burt Dalton, Mitch Tucker and Bill Spiess.  The only one who wasn't there for the announcement was Billy so congrats to Billy and all the captains for next years league.  We will sign card and collect for Barbara over the next Thursday and Saturday tennis outings.  Everyone have a safe and Merry Xmas!

Bentleague III Blog 12/15/2017 – The final chapter.  Cannoli’s Win…Cannoli’s Win…Cannoli’s Win First and foremost… I am Humble!  I didn’t see this one coming.  Kind of disappointed in FYVM’s finish.  On paper, I still see three victories in that line up.  But, as Kevin would say….To hell with paper champions!!!  Let the love hate relationship with the Cannoli’s begin.  Take the Cannoli team rises to the challenge and captures B III Title in a fantastic finish to B’s third installment.  Big thank you to the commish for all you do for PAC tennis and our crew.  Friendships beyond tennis.  We are lucky.  Congrats again to Kevin and his team.  I even like most of them.  Just a reminder…winning team (B I) contributed 1 st place winnings to year end party!  To our chagrin…we have to watch the love fest continue one more time at the year-end Christmas luncheon.  Betting by the end of that – Cannoli’s will offi...

Bentleague III Blog 12/14/2017 – Time  to pull back the curtain Toto Take the Cannoli Team America String Music FYVM 20 12 18 14 And then there were two… Cannoli’s vs. FYVM for the title tonight.  Matches start at 7:30pm.  Also rans have prelims at 6 then it gets interesting. If Stallion’s predictions prevail we will see FYVM taking at least 3 tonight to force a winner take all tie breaker match.  I see at least three victories in the FYVM lineup if all are available.  No more Mr. Nice Guy Steve (Don’t call me Charlie) Jacobs will put forth a formidable line up and pull back the curtain on Cannoli’s fine season.  No tapping of the ruby slippers for Captain Cannoli to stave off the inevitable.  Cannoli’s in the driver’s seat after an impressive sweep of String Music last week capped by an orgy fest victory Monday night.  I don’t know what was worse…watc...

Bentleague III Blog 12/1/2017 - Down goes Dave...Down goes Dave!
